Dear Friends,

Welcome to Andrews Elementary; home of the soaring Eagles! At Andrews, we continually strive to improve the design and delivery of learning opportunities for all students. Each day is dedicated toward achieving academic and personal success…one child at a time! It is a school where children come first and one that will continue to move toward distinction. We are pleased to announce that Andrews Elementary has once again earned an Exemplary state rating for the 2010-11 school year! This accomplishment truly reflects the collaborative partnership between students, parents and staff of the Andrews school community.

You will not find a more dedicated group of teachers than those here at Andrews. The staff is supportive of each child’s needs and they go the “extra mile” to ensure that all students reach their fullest potential in a classroom environment that promotes the highest standards for learning. May I encourage you to continue your involvement in the school community; join PTA/Dad’s Club, become a member of the Andrews and PISD eNews, Parent Portal and communicate frequently with your child’s teacher throughout the school year.

We are delighted to have your family on board as we prepare for another remarkable year of learning.
