Cheryl Schrodel’s  Sixth Grade Reading class (Armstrong MS) visits the library to discuss the Texas Maverick List of Graphic Novels.   Armstrong Middle School receives national recognition for college readiness as an AVID Demonstration School. Armstrong Middle School teaches civic responsibility through Student Council organized by Susan Meyers on right  and co-sponsored by Claire McGrath on left pictured with 2011-2012 student representatives. Armstrong Middle School:  Steven Ewing, principal and Campus AVID Coordinator, Susan Saviano celebrate receiving national recognition as an AVID Demonstration School with students currently enrolled in the campus AVID program. Armstrong M.S. is a great place to be! Ms. Meyers, assistant principal, enjoying social time with her 6th grade students at lunch. Armstrong Middle School is officially the 2012 Texas Middle School Bowling District Champions!!! Armstrong 1 and Armstrong 2 finished the inaugural season of Texas Middle School Bowling taking 1st and 2nd place respectively! AMS Teacher of the Year-Susan Saviano Quick View

Susan Saviano was selected as Armstrong Middle School's teacher of the year for 2011-2012. Mrs. Saviano has been teaching in education for 13 years 10 of which have been here at Armstrong. Mrs. Saviano currently serves as the campus AVID teacher. Her leadership and dedication to this program has led to our campus being nationally recognized as an AVID demonstration school.
