Children are my passion and I feel very fortunate to have a career that I truly love. I want every child to enjoy learning and feel academically successful.

I have over twenty-five years experience with PISD as a counselor and elementary teacher. Additionally, I am a licensed counselor and worked with children and families as a therapist and mental health educator in Dallas and Plano. My Bachelor’s Degree is from the University of Texas at Austin and I have two Master’s Degrees from the University of North Texas at Denton. One is in Elementary Education and the other is in Counseling and Guidance. I have been married for over 30 years and have three grown children who attended Plano schools. My hobbies include yoga, reading, movies and cheering on the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks.
