Carpenter Middle School - Winner of the PISD Education Foundation's Grants to Educators
Carpenter Middle School Teachers Rose Castillo, Barbara Lye and Kerry Babin were awarded a $500 grant for their project titled Real World Math.
This project is specifically designed to help struggling students master the math content of the TEKS. Real world scenarios will be set up in the classroom like a restaurant, store, bank, etc. Students will be able to “experience” how math is being use...
