Mrs. Deni Bleggi

Principal

Deni Bleggi celebrates the chance to join the Gulledge community as the principal and instructional leader. She has enjoyed the honor and privilege of making a difference in the lives of children for the past 21 years. Her educational experiences include teaching for nine years, during which she was a part of the charter staff when Gulledge opened its doors in 1994. She firmly believes that successful educators must exhibit a positive “can do” attitude, embrace every child for his or her uniqueness, celebrate teamwork and connectedness with the community served along with finding the daily joys discovered as learners and leaders. Thus, she moved into administration in order to facilitate active goal and strategy setting to promote and achieve student success. “I am proud to be a part of the Plano ISD team where we believe in providing every learner with an excellent education.”
Mrs. Bleggi feels that her experience as a student in the Plano ISD awarded her a balanced educational experience so that she graduated seeking continued growth as a student and leader. Life long learning continues to be a strong passion for her. She holds a Master of Education degree with a specialization in special education. In addition, she is certified in mid-management, special education, educational diagnostics and early childhood. Her honors include being selected Beginning Teacher of the Year when starting her teaching career in Garland I.S.D. Then in Plano ISD, she was recognized as Teacher of the Year and received an Excellence in Teaching award at both Gulledge Elementary, 1995-1996, and Bettye Haun Elementary, 1997-1998. She also holds a PTA Lifetime Membership Award in Texas.
Mrs. Bleggi and her husband take pride in and enjoy parenting their daughter; family is her number one priority. “I am honored to rejoin the Gulledge community where kids come first. Together we will cultivate relationships, establish high expectations for our children and their success, purposefully support our students so they are passionate about the life-changing power of education. Through teamwork, we will make a positive difference in the life of every Gulledge Gator.”
