Welcome to Hightower Elementary School. Mariea Sprott (principal) is enthusiastic and proud to serve the students, staff, and parents of Hightower. At Hightower, we believe in Discipline with Love and Logic that encourages students to be responsible for themselves. We strive to create a safe environment where courtesy and kindness prevail.

Mrs. Sprott holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Houston. She has a Certification in Administration from Sam Houston State University.

“The greatest preparation I received to become a principal comes from being the mother of two sons and a daughter. I have learned the importance of looking at each child as an individual and appreciating their differences.”

My personal priorities include helping students achieve academic success in a caring and supportive environment. Parental involvement is welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
