Veterans Day was celebrated in schools across the district on November 11. To celebrate Children’s Book Week Nov 14 – 18, Mendenhall principal Karen Noble and assistant principal Chris Dunkle kiss a cow to reward students for overflowing their classroom reading buckets with reading tickets. Thanks to a successful partnership among Plano ISD, the YMCA and Collin County Adventure Camp, hundreds of fifth grade students enjoy the great outdoors each fall semester.
