The Plano Childrens' Chorale and Plano Senior High School Choir students combined to sing "Let There Be Peace on Earth" at the 2013 Plano ISD MLK Tribute event at Williams High School. The Plano Senior High School Mixed Choir, under the direction of Derrick Brookins, has received a prestigious invitation to perform at the annual conference of the American Choral Directors Association to be held in Dallas in March, 2013. Harrington Elementary School students benefitted from a Dinosaur George exhibit and visit this school year. Forman Future Engineers are learning about engineering this school year, thanks to a grant from the Plano ISD Education Foundation. Rasor Elementary School students proudly "voted" on Election Day 2012. Students across the school district participated in College Week 2013 by celebrating higher education opportunities.
