Where is Huffman located? Map to our school?
We are at 5510 Channel Isle Drive, Plano Texas 75093.
When does my child eat?
Kindergarten - 1:00 - 1:30
Grade 1 - 10:30 - 11:00
Grade 2 - 11:00 - 11:30
Grade 3 - 1130 - 12:00
Grade 4 - 12:30 - 1:00
Grade 5 - 12:00 - 12:30
When can I join my child for lunch?
Please feel free to join your child for lunch during his/her lunch time. Exception: During the first two weeks of school, we ask that parents not come in for lunch so that the students can get into the routine of the cafeteria and lunch schedule.
How early can I drop my child off for school?
You may drop your child off at the gym doors at 7:00.
When are early release days and what time does school end on those days?

What does my child eat for lunch?

What if my child forgets his/her lunch?
You may bring your child's lunch, put their name on the outside and drop it into the appropriate grade level crate in the front lobby. Teachers will pick up lunches on their way to the cafeteria.
What should I do if my child forgets his/her items at school such as homework or lunch boxes?
Parents may drop forgotten items such as homework, clothes etc, in the grade level crates which are located outside the office. Please put your child's name, grade level and teacher on the item. Students may re-enter school only until 3:30 PM. After that students will not be able to retrieve forgotten items.
How do I volunteer for Huffman?

My child has a fever, can he come to school?
Your child must be fever free for 24 hours before he can return to class.
Can my child bring his medicine to school?
Students may not bring any medicine including cough drops to school without a note from a parent. The note and medicine must be given to the nurse who will administer it to the child. All medicine must be in its original container.
