A Message From McCall's Principal, Mrs. Kimbriel

Thank you for visiting the McCall Elementary website! I sincerely appreciate your interest in our campus and hope that you will find what you need on the pages within our website. I also invite you to view our very active McCall Facebook page at to see our Colts in action and review our day to day posts.

I have been the principal of McCall Elementary since 2011. Prior to this appointment, I served as the Assistant Principal of McCall, so it was nice to have that experience before being named Principal. I have twenty years of experience in education. I served as a first grade teacher, fourth grade teacher, third grade teacher and as a literacy specialist before starting down the path to campus leadership. My educational passions are: reading instruction, second language learners, and coaching teachers to continuously improve in the classroom. I love visiting classrooms and try my hardest to visit each and every day. I encourage you to visit my page,, which will highlight other areas where I strive to educate myself and continue to grow as the lead learner of McCall Elementary.

I also invite you to get involved once you join our community. Whether it be by lending a hand with special projects we have or attending our planned events throughout the year, our campus is enhanced by your presence. Our partner organization is our McCall PTA. Please visit their website to learn about the PTA and all it brings to our campus: Together we will make a powerful team that benefits all of the children that attend McCall Elementary. A community approach is so important as we start the foundation of academic achievement with our children--we are all important parts of the educational process.

If you are considering making our neighborhood your permanent home, I’d love the opportunity to showcase what we are working on and how amazing our students and teachers really are in person. You may contact me directly at 469-752-4510 or for an appointment to tour our campus and get all your concerns /questions addressed.
