Counselors

The McMillen Counseling Office hours are 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Appointments are both recommended and appreciated. To schedule time with a counselor, to enroll, or to withdraw a student, please call (469) 752 – 8615. The counseling team, committed to excellent service is Ali Chase, Tina Banks, Sarah Davidson, Andrea Denuszek and Lonnie Green. We are here to make your visit to the counseling office a phenomenal experience.

Registration Forms

To enroll a student, parent/ legal guardian will need to:

1. Make an appointment, call (469) 752 – 8615
2. Bring proof of residence, current utility, water or natural gas bill, bearing the name and address of the parent or legal guardian.  

A lease agreement bearing the address of the property, name of the student as occupant, or legal guardian is also acceptable.

If the resident is responsible for payment of utilities, the homeowners must fill out and have notarized a proof residency statement listing the people living in their household, accompanied by a utility bill.

3. Photo copy of transcripts and withdrawal forms.
4. Birth certificate or passport
5. Social security card
6. Immunization records
7.Parent or legal guardian with a photo ID  

Note: Returning students only need items 1, 2, and 6.

To obtain guardianship papers, please contact Sherri Easterling at (469) 752 – 3792 or Valerie Helm at (469) 752 – 3793, who are located at 5804 Coit Rd, Suite 102, Plano, Texas 75023. Students coming from a foreign country, student will need to stop at the PISD Assessment Center, 3540 E. 14th Street, Plano, Texas, (469) 752 – 8874 and complete the language assessment before enrolling. You may call the Language Assessment Center to make an appointment.

This website allows you to check grades and update the following forms: Emergency sheet, Policy Guide, Truancy and Release forms. Be sure to sign electronically when you have completed ALL forms. With today’s technology, the goal is to position our school to operate in a paperless environment. If you do not have a computer, you may use the computers here at McMillen or your public library.

Test Day

Parents please be aware that on all testing days there is always classroom instruction in the afternoon. All time in school is instructional and your student’s attendance is important. School funding is based off of student’s attendance. So attendance is important for your students education, school funding and your tax dollars.
