I was born in Pennsylvania but I call Texas “home” because I’ve been here since 1980. My school career was spent in Corpus Christi, Texas where I graduated from Calallen High School. I headed off to college and received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Texas A&M.
My teaching career has been spent in the upper elementary grades with five years teaching fourth grade and three years teaching third grade. After teaching at Mathews Elementary, I decided to put my administrative degree to use and become an assistant principal. In Plano I have worked as an assistant principal at Wyatt, Davis and Miller Elementary. Everybody has fun things they like to do away from school and I am no different. I typically go to the gym several days a week and I love lifting weights, kickboxing, step and any other kind of aerobic exercise. When not at the gym I enjoy reading and scrapbooking.
