Pam Hackney has earned her BSE in Deaf Education from the University of Arkansas with certifications in elementary education and kindergarten. She has a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. She has taught elementary school as well as middle school in the Dallas and Plano systems. She is excited to be in Kindergarten and can't wait to have an excellent year at Rasor Elementary!
LeighAnn Sheppard and her family moved from West Virginia to Texas in 2011. She graduated from West Virginia State University in 2006. Mrs. Sheppard has been teaching full time since graduating. She is excited about 5th year teaching in Texas and getting to know the students and families at Rasor Elementary!
Kimberley Kirby (Team Leader)
Mrs. Kirby is a product of the Plano Independent School District. She graduated from PSHS in 1982. She then traveled to the University of North Texas where she graduated with a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading and a Kindergarten Endorsement in 1986. After teaching for 5 years, she returned to UNT where she completed her Masters in Early Childhood with a Gifted and Talented Certification in 1995. She started teaching in 1985. She has taught 4th grade in Ennis ISD; Kindergarten in Mesquite ISD; 1st grade for in Lovejoy ISD; moved to Indiana for a short time and then returned to Texas to teach 5th, 2nd, and 1st grade in Anna ISD. She joined Plano ISD in 2008 teaching Kindergarten at Stinson. She was very excited about joining Rasor Elementary in 2009. She taught 2nd grade for six years here at Rasor and she is now excited about returning to Kindergarten. She is looking forward to an excellent year!
Mrs. Beckham is a 1997 graduate of Texas Tech University where she received her bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She is currently in her 18th year of teaching and has taught Pre-K through 1st grade. This is her second year at Rasor, and she is very excited about beginning the new year with her students.
