Renner Middle School Students from Renner’s yearbook team won Third Place at the 2015 Jostens Summer Journalism Workshop at TWU in July. Getting acquainted with combination locks was high on the priority list of incoming 6th graders at Renner this semester. Glad to touch base with friends, students at Renner are ready for 2016! Our student athletes show teamwork and a commitment to excellence. The 2016 National History Day theme “Exploration, Encounter, Exchange in History” inspired these Renner student medalists. 800 meters proved no obstacle for Renner 7th graders Alec Zambie, Brian McKeown and Jake Laufenberg, who finished 2nd, 3rd, and 6th among a field of 34 athletes. Whether walking a mile or running a 5K, Renner’s community came out in droves to raise funds for campus technology devices.
