Renner Middle School Getting acquainted with combination locks was high on the priority list of incoming 6th graders at Renner this semester. Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere, keynote speaker, shared with Renner students the four Ls of leadership at the chapter’s NJHS induction ceremony on May 11. Sixth graders get an introduction to lab science. Whether walking a mile or running a 5K, Renner’s community came out in droves to raise funds for campus technology devices. 800 meters proved no obstacle for Renner 7th graders Alec Zambie, Brian McKeown and Jake Laufenberg, who finished 2nd, 3rd, and 6th among a field of 34 athletes. Renner Middle School received the Champions of Change banner from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society after donating $5,143. NJHS Fundraising Chair, Sophie F., presented the check at the NJHS induction ceremony.
