Hello Schell Coyotes! Thank you for taking time to explore the Schell Elementary website. We have a wonderful staff that is dedicated to making sure each and every student is working to their potential and successful in their endeavors. Our students and families are awesome! We have many opportunities for our students to learn, as well opportunities for families to become involved in the life of our school. Please take a moment to check out what all we have to offer, and I encourage your participation. Thank you for the honor of being your principal, and for making it a pleasure to come to school each day and work with your students!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. This is my second year as the principal at Schell. Previously, I spent several years as a classroom teacher and Team Leader at Wells Elementary. I spent five years as an assistant principal (at Daffron, Rose Haggar, Brinker, and Mitchell Elementary schools). Before entering a career in education, I worked in the business world and was a stay-at-home mom, as well as an enthusiastic volunteer in my children's schools.

I received my Bachelor of Business from Baylor University. I completed my Teaching Certification at the University of Texas at Dallas and my Masters in Educational Administration at the University of North Texas.

My husband of twenty six years and I have two children, a son who is a senior in college and a daughter who is a sophomore in college. Our yellow Labrador mix completes our family. Some of my hobbies include traveling with my family, reading, and running. I am thrilled to be a part of the Schell family.
