Mrs. Tracy was born and raised in Texas spending her childhood in Corpus Christi and Houston. Her college years were spent at Texas A&M University (whoop!) where she graduated with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Mathematics. Mrs. Tracy continued her education by earning her Masters in Educational Administration at Texas A&M Commerce.
While in college, Mrs. Tracy met her husband, Mr. Tracy, who she has been married to for half her life! As young newlyweds, the Tracy family moved to Dallas where she worked in Richardson ISD for 10 years. Her time in RISD was spent as a junior high math teacher, math specialist and assistant principal. After having children (Eli who is a sophomore and Allie who is in 7th grade), Mrs. Tracy decided to take a break from working in RISD and worked part-time for Texas Instruments for 10 years and The University of Texas Institute for Public School Initiatives for 2 years. In both roles, she provided professional development and math coaching to campuses across Texas.
In her free time, you will usually find Mrs. Tracy hanging out with friends and family, reading a good book, or running. She also loves to travel and is always ready for the next adventure!
