Mrs. Taylor is the new principal of Stinson Elementary. She earned a Bachelors and Masters of Science from UNT. She also earned her Administration Certification from Texas A & M Commerce. Following graduation from college Mrs. Taylor took a job as a Speech Pathologist for Head Start in Dallas ISD. After two years she came to Plano ISD where she has had many roles such as: a Speech Pathologist, a teacher, a Special Education Teacher and an Assistant Principal. This is her 20th year in Plano ISD.

Mrs. Taylor grew up in the north, living in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and New Jersey. She moved to Texas when she was in high school. She lives in Allen with her husband Rob, her 2 children, and her puppy, Cooper. Her daughter, Megan is a college student at UNT studying to become a teacher. Her son Andrew is a junior at Allen High School.

She is very excited to return to Stinson Elementary as Principal since she was the Assistant Principal at Stinson from 2008-2010. She loves the hard working students, the involved community, the PTA support and the most incredible staff in all of Plano ISD.

Her goals for the new school year include reconnecting with the Stinson community and all of the students, as well as getting to know the new students and parents. Mrs. Taylor looks forward to people stopping by and introducing themselves, or just catching up. She also plans to continue the high academic expectations that have always been in place at Stinson. “You you can walk in the door and feel the warm, friendly atmosphere, where children can learn, create, play and grow intellectually.”

“I am honored to be selected as the principal of Stinson Elementary as I consider this my dream job. I also look forward to watching all of the Stinson Stars shine in the galaxy of learning.”
