Welcome to the Vines High School Library page! Our collection holds a 16,000+ print and digital media sources including books, e-books, magazines, and professional materials. The library offers access to 50+ data bases for research and general information purposes. Students are encouraged to use the library to conduct research for assignments, work in study groups, collaborate on school projects, and to check out books and/or magazines for pleasure reading. We are open an hour before school starts, as well as 15 minutes after school. Students may check out 4 books at a time and they are checked out for 4 weeks. Students may place holds online for up to 3 books at a time. We do not charge fines for overdue books; however, overdues must be returned and/or lost books paid for before additional books may be checked out. We offer black and white printing for school related assignments. There is a 25 cent charge per page for color printing.

Teen Read Book Club
The goal of the Teens Read Book Club is to meet once a month in the library to discuss books that students are currently reading. Books are self-selected by the students and cover a variety of genres and Dewey sections in our library. Our members also write book suggestions for our student body. There are no dues for being a part of the club and we meet during lunch or study hall on the first Tuesday of each month. We perform one service project a year – a book drive, of course! Vikings, please consider joining this fun club!
