Mural - A love of learning takes flight!

Thanks to all those who participated in our fall Great Pumpkin Contest by casting votes. Over one thousand dollars were raised in just four days that helped to fund a beautiful new mural in our front hall painted by artist Kathy Holland. This mural is the first in a series that will highlight landmarks and events in Plano and incorporate elements of Weatherford Elementary's culture.

Congratulations Katerina Luna, Plano ISD Martin Luther King Writing Contest Winner!

Weatherford second grader Katerina Luna's composition honoring the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr. was selected to be read at the District MLK Celebration to be held on Thursday, January 19. The event will be hosted by Plano West Senior High at 7:00 PM. Weatherford congratulates Katerina and her teacher Kristin Wright for their excellent work!
